Khmelnitskiy National University (KNU) is one of the biggest educational facilities in Ukraine. More than 1500 students graduate from it every year. During the time of its existence, from 1965, KNU prepared more than 250000 specialists. There are 44 departments, 808 teachers, 44 of them are professors, 443 candidates of scientific academy, 4 academics of Ukrainian science academy, one laureate of Government grant and three honored scientists of Ukraine. |

Our university prepares specialists on the following specialities: economics, management, engineering mechanics, radio technologies, electronic devices, computer engineering, chemical technologies and engineering, light industry, welding, pedagogics, philology of the highest IV level of accreditation. The level and condition of the material base of the University is appropriate to all foreign standarts. University has 7 educational and scientific-research buildings with general campus are more than 44.6 square kilometers. There are more than 120 auditoriums, scientific laboratories, equipped with the most modern technologies, telecommunicational and computing devices.
In our University a program of basic programming has been successfully installed in all of the departments, which is based on different educative programs involving the use of computers and programs developed for each speciality individually. There are 17 computer classes connected with a LAN network and connected to Internet.
The University has a modern library with its funds over 1 million scientific, educational, classical and fiction books. Every year there are 20000-30000 new books that enlarge the library fund. There are 5 classes for independent studies and a number of computer classes with internet access at the library. There is a diploma projecting class with Internet terminals functioning.
